Sad new everyone, IDW's Ghostbusters series ( which I loved sniff..) is coming to an end in September with issue # 20 which concludes the Mass Hysteria story arch which is currently going on now.

The artist of the book Tristan Jones Tweeted an image of the cover for issue # 20 stating that this was the final issue in the series.

"My cover for Ghostbusters' final issue. Thanks to @TomWaltz @Dapperpomade & @erikburnham for letting me tag along!"

IDW also added the news in their solicitation for issue #20:
(W) Erik Burnham (A/CA) Dan Schoening
THE FINAL ISSUE OF GHOSTBUSTERS! Mass Hysteria comes to an end and the Ghostbusters discover the price of driving Tiamat from the city, county, and state of New York! But just because the Big Bad is beaten, it doesn’t mean psychokinetic shenanigans are on the wane — there’s always another job on deck for the boys (and girls!) in grey! Don’t miss the bombastically chaotic conclusion to IDW’s ghoulishly ground-breaking GHOSTBUSTERS run!

I for one am very saddened to see this series go, I believed that just like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series that IDW is producing that this was one of their best comic series. It was able to take aspects of the movies and cartoon (including Extreme Ghostbusters) and integrate them beautifully into one awesome series. I will be sad to see it go but I am also happy that we got this great series in the first place and I will always remember it and look back at the issues and enjoy them for year to come.

Thank You IDW for making such a great comic.

Thanks to for the information
